The X-Files is set to return in the January of 2016 with a 6 episode event miniseries that continues from the original television series. The rebooted show is helmed by original creator Chris Carter and David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi and William B. Davis all return for the miniseries, which will also feature Joel McHale and Annet Mahendru.
