The first season is created by Scott M. Gimple and David Zabel and directed by Daniel Percival and Tim Southam. Daryl wakes up on the coast of Marseille, France after escaping from a mysterious ship. Dixon meets a group of nuns who believe a special boy named Laurent will lead the rebirth of humanity, who ask him to take the boy to the other side of France. This is how they become a target for the revolutionary "Power of the Living" movement. The season consists of six episodes and was premiered on September 10, 2023 on AMC.

Quinn (Adam Nagaitis) gives a Beretta Cougar Inox to Anna Valery (Lukerya Ilyashenko) to protect Laurent in "La Dame de Fer" (S1E04). When Daryl comes to rescue the boy Anna points the gun but later lets them go.

Browning Hi-Power Mark III

The Demimonde club guard (Jean Eudes Drouvin) who kidnaps Laurent is armed with a Browning Hi-Power Mark III in "La Dame de Fer" (S1E04). When he is devoured by walkers Isabelle (Clémence Poésy) takes his gun and threatens another guard named Armand (Genc Jakupi). What appears to be the Browning is also seen in the holster of one of the Power of the Living movement Guerriers from Capo's patrol who caught Daryl in the woods in "Deux Amours" (S1E05).

Flintlock Pistol

Power of the Living movement Guerriers Richard (Richard Zannini) and Jèrèmie (Jeremie Denisse) carry a various Flintlock Pistols as their sidearms in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01). A few flintlock pistols are seen in Liberty Leading the People picture in Genet's office in "Deux Amours" (S1E05).

After the attack on the monastery in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01), Daryl (Norman Reedus) picks up a French Model An XIII Cavalry Flintlock Pistol from a dead Power of the Living movement Guerrier William (William Cagnard) and puts down the zombified Martin.

Daryl notices a pistol in the hands of a dead Guerrier. However, he only used a blunderbuss during the battle.
Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) aims the Model An XIII Cavalry flintlock pistol. Given the French setting, this Napoleonic gun is plausible though it is questionable whether such an antique weapon would be serviceable.

Glock 17

A Power of the Living movement Guerrier holds Daryl at gunpoint with a Glock 17 catching him in "Deux Amours" (S1E05). Power of the Living movement Lieutenant Capo (Maxime Lefrançois) gives his Glock to Codron (Romain Levi) to execute Daryl's group in "Coming Home" (S1E06). However, Stéphane shows mercy and kills the soldiers, releasing Dixon.

Lepage Percussion Pistol

Power of the Living movement Guerrier Stéphane Codron (Romain Levi) carries a Lepage Percussion Pistol with a folded bayonet as his main sidearm in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01). During the attack on the monastery, Cordon loses it, switching to a Luger later. At the end of "Alouette" (S1E02), he returns to the monastery and retrieves the lost gun. Stéphane fires his pistol while chasing Daryl on the rooftops at the end of "Paris Sera Toujours Paris" (S1E03). The holstered pistol is also seen in "La Dame de Fer" (S1E04) and "Deux Amours" (S1E05). In "Coming Home" (S1E06), Codron executes Capo during the confrontation.

Power of the Living movement Guerrier Stéphane Codron (Romain Levi) carries a Luger P08 in an ankle holster in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01). He shoots at Daryl (Norman Reedus) the first time he sees him, but Dixon quickly snatches it.

Most of the Power of the Living movement Guerriers carry holstered MAC Mle 1950 as siderams, notably in "Paris Sera Toujours Paris" (S1E03) and "Deux Amours" (S1E05). After losing his Luger, Power of the Living movement Guerrier Stéphane Codron (Romain Levi) also uses the Mle 1950 in the same episode and later in "La Dame de Fer" (S1E04). Codron uses the pistol for the first time during the shootout at the De Gaulle Day celebration in "Coming Home" (S1E06).

Rifles

Karabiner 98k

Sister Isabelle Carriere (Clémence Poésy) uses a Karabiner 98k as her main weapon. She carries the rifle over her back at the beginning of "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01). In "Alouette" (S1E02), she continues to carry it while traveling. She briefly holds the rifle after meeting The Conductor (Eric Frey) at the beginning of "Paris Sera Toujours Paris" (S1E03). Upon arriving at Fallou's community Emile (Tristan Zanchi) takes the gun and hands it over to the armory. She also carries the rifle on her back at the rendezvous point at the river in "La Dame de Fer" (S1E04).

However, he uses a second rifle during the firefight, and at the end of the episode, the rifle is seen behind Fallou's (Eriq Ebouaney) back.

After the battle, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) takes the rifle and uses it throughout "Alouette" (S1E02). During a raid on the castle, he gives the rifle to Hérisson (Milo Mazé) to give him covering fire, but then takes the rifle back and shoots gas cans to escape from a moat filled with walkers. Hostile survivor RJ Gaines (Ned Dennehy) also briefly tries to steal the rifle during the fight. At the beginning of "Paris Sera Toujours Paris" (S1E03), Daryl gives Sylvie (Laïka Blanc-Francard) the rifle to protect the horses, then takes it back.

Due to a continuity error, when Power of the Living movement Guerriers enter the monastery in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01), Philippe Poulin's (Elias Hauter) rifle becomes a Chatellerault Mle. 1825T Gendarmerie Musketoon with a bayonet, though he uses a St. Etienne Mle. 1842 the rest of the time.

Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy"

The survivor traveling on Daryl's motorcycle named Mick (Paul Zies), is armed with a Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy" at the end of "Coming Home" (S1E06). When he is chased by a Mustang, the man opens fire. It turns out that the car was driven by Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), who takes the rifle.

Winchester Model 70

Hostile survivor RJ Gaines (Ned Dennehy) opens fire with what appears to be a Winchester Model 70 on Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Hérisson (Milo Mazé) during a mission to his castle in "Alouette" (S1E02). After outsmarting him, Daryl takes possession of the rifle and takes him at gunpoint but later gives the rifle to Hérisson so that the boy can control the prisoner. Emile (Tristan Zanchi) carries a bolt-action rifle behind his back while going to the Demimonde club in "Paris Sera Toujours Paris" (S1E03). What appears to be a Model 70 is seen near the killed Fallou's community guard (Shiraz Tzarfati) at the end of the episode. Emile surrenders it along with other weapons, and when he gets it back, he uses it, as well as another a Montmartre Community member named Bastien (Elie Haddad), during the diversion at the Demimonde club in "La Dame de Fer" (S1E04). Two survivors from Jones' outpost at the Fuller's Auto Repair carry rifles in the flashback in "Deux Amours" (S1E05). Several Power of the Living movement Guerriers on the ship are armed with rifles in the flashback at the end of the episode. A survivor at the gates of the Nest carries the rifle behind his back during the arrival of Daryl's group in "Coming Home" (S1E06).

After the battle, Sister Sylvie (Laïka Blanc-Francard) takes the gun and carries it while traveling in "Alouette" (S1E02). She also carries the shotgun in "Paris Sera Toujours Paris" (S1E03), but doesn't use it. Upon arriving at Fallou's community Emile (Tristan Zanchi) takes the gun and hands it over to the armory. She also carries the shotgun on her back at the rendezvous point at the river in "La Dame de Fer" (S1E04).

During the fight, both Michel Codron (Paul Deby) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) briefly grab the gun. When Codron finds this place, one of his subordinates, Martin (Andy Deschamps), picks it up.

In the flashback in "Deux Amours" (S1E05) at Fuller's Auto Repair where the zombie hunters' outpost is located has a rack of guns.

Arriving at the outpost for the first time, Daryl notices Dr. Lafleur in the radio room. There are two M1 Garand rifles, three Beretta 92FS, a Glock 17, two M4A1 carbines and a Heckler & Koch MP5A2 are seen hanging on the wall.
When he tries to contact his people later in the episode, a M16A2, an anachronistic Heckler & Koch HK416A5, an M1A1 Thompson and the heavily customized MP5 can also be spotted on the wall.

The Abbey of Saint Bernadette Armory

As a medieval monastery, the Abbey of Saint Bernadette which is seen in "L'ame Perdue" (S1E01) has an arsenal of swords, bows, spears and other antiquated weapons. It also has a rack of World War II-era weapons collected by Père Jean.

Several bows are stored on the wall.
The rack holds a Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk III*, a M1 Garand, a MP40, a M1928A1 Thompson, what appears to be a Walther P38, and an Mle 1892 Revolver.

Unknown Grenade

In addition to the Molotov cocktail, Fallou throws several poorly-visible frag grenades during a shootout with Demimonde club guards in "La Dame de Fer" (S1E04).
