The Tunnel is a UK/French television mystery crime series that follows two detectives, one British and one French, who have to work together to solve the mystery of two severed body halves of different nationalities that are discovered in the Channel Tunnel. The series premiered in 2013 on Sky Atlantic in the UK and on Canal+ in France. The Tunnel was based on the Danish/Swedish-produced 2011 series Bron/Broen, which also was adapted into the US/Mexico television series The Bridge, which premiered in 2013 in the US on the FX Network.
