Joe then takes it when following the Rebel leader who took his wife apart from the other hostages he loses it when entering the cave. The Rebel Leader detonates an explosive causing the entrance to fall. The shotgun ends up under a pile of rocks. The one used in the film is the trench gun variant.

The Marine 2 (2009)

The Marine 2 is the second film in The Marine film franchise, which began with 2006's The Marine. The 2009 film was directed by Roel Reiné and stars former WWE star Ted DiBiase Jr. as Joe Linwood, a US Marine sniper who finds himself having to rescue his wife from Thai rebels who have taken over their hotel. This film was followed by the 2013 DTV sequel The Marine 3: Homefront, which featured WWE star Mike "The Miz" Mizanin.

IMI Galil SAR

A IMI Galil SAR is used by Calob (Dom Hetrakul), the mercenary leader when they enter the hotel grounds. It is fitted with a scope and a silencer. After he is injured Joe Linwood (Ted DiBiase Jr.) takes it and uses it for a good part of the film.

Colt M16 SP1

Many of the Rebels are seen using the Colt M16 SP1. The rifle is also seen in crates at the beginning of the film, being sold by the arms dealers. This gun was also used by government soldiers and mercenaries. Near the end of the film, after Church (Michael Rooker) kills two rebels, he gives Mr. Conner (Robert Coleby) an M16 SP1 to protect himself.

Beretta 92FS

Beretta 92FS pistol is standard sidearm in the film, it also appeared in movie poster. Near the end of the film, Joe Linwood captured Thickset's Beretta 92FS and chases after Damo (Temuera Morrison), the rebel leader. Some of the arms dealer's men at the beginning of the film also use this gun to shoot Joe Linwood and his partner.

Colt M1911A1

One of the rebels carries a Colt M1911A1, he threatens the hostages with his Colt when they try to escape. Joe also is seen taking one from a rebel. The pistol also is used by one of security guards in the hotel.

Glock 19

The Glock 19 is the sidearm of both Joe Linwood and his partner at the beginning of the film, but they never use it.

Damo (Temuera Morrison) carries a Colt Official Police as his main sidearm throughout the film, but he never use it.

Submachine Guns

IMI Uzi

Some of the Rebels can be seen using the IMI Uzi. Joe Linwood takes one from one of the rebels after he is captured. When going to rescue the hostages he only gets to fire a few rounds before the gun is kicked out of his hands by Thickset (Thienchai Jayasvasti Jr.), the rebels leader's brother. After a short fight Thickset grabs the gun but is killed by Church (Michael Rooker) before he can use it.

M3 "Grease Gun"

One of the arms dealer's men at the beginning of the film fires an M3 "Grease Gun" at Joe Linwood and his partner. The M3 was possibly taken from one of the boxes full of weapons.

Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW

Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDWs with scopes, silencers, and folded stocks are used by some of the mercenaries. Some of the rebels use this gun with the stock unfolded, most notably Thickset (Thienchai Jayasvasti Jr.). Blondie (Supoi Khaowwong), the traitor in the mercenaries uses this gun to kill three other mercenaries. Near the end of the film, after Church (Michael Rooker) kills two rebels, he takes one MP5K-PDW to protect himself and the hostages.

Carl Gustav M/45

Winchester Model 1897 "Trench Gun"

Church (Michael Rooker) uses a Winchester Model 1897 "Trench Gun" to kill Thickset (Thienchai Jayasvasti Jr.). Later he gives Joe (Ted DiBiase Jr.) his shotgun to rescue Robin (Lara Cox), Joe's wife, but Joe has no chance to use it.

Remington 870

One of the arms dealer's men carries a Remington 870 at the beginning of the film. A Remington is used by one of mercenaries when they enter the hotel grounds.
