The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is a 2013 sci-fi/action film and sequel to 2012's The Hunger Games, starring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, in which she takes part in a the Hunger Games, an annual gladiatorial fight to the death. Catching Fire sees her return to the Games as the evil President Snow (Donald Sutherland) orders the 75th Hunger Game be a twisted reunion special between former victors. Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, and Elizabeth Banks also star.
