'The Eight Hundred, original title Bābǎi is a Chinese war movie, relating the Defense of Sihang Warehouse during the last battle of Shanghai between Chinese National Revolutionary Army and Japanese invasion forces in 1937.

Rifles and Carbine
Type Zhongzheng rifle
The main rifle of National Revolutionary Army soldiers is Type Zhongzheng Rifle. At least one soldier uses a scoped rifle with a turned-down bolt handle.

Chinese deserters are used to carry numerous rifles in the warehouse.
In this scene, it seems that there is a kind of sticks with cloth inserted in the barrels to prevent from rain.
During the night attack, Chinese soldiers pushing back Japanese troops, some soldiers use their rifles with a flashlight in hand.

Chinese volunteers decimated by Japanese in the film beginning are using Hanyang 88 rifles. This weapon is visible throughout the movie, but it is clearly not the most used.

Imperial Japanese army soldiers and sailors are using the famous Arisaka Type 38 often seen fitted with bayonets during combats. Some NRA soldiers are using captured rifles as well.

Mocked up Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk III
British soldiers protecting the British concession area are carrying Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk III, but the rifles are mockup probably made from a Mauser type rifle, if we judge from the straight bolt handle and the breech which is not characteristic for a real Lee-Enfield, we also can see that the stock is different.

The Model 24 Stielhandgranate is massively used against the Japanese. When the situation is desperated, many NRA soldiers commit suicide attacks with many grenades tied over them.

The brothers use one of the tank of a captured Japanese Type93/100 flamethrower to destroys a improvised armored vehicle. Later an another soldier use it briefly against Japanese soldiers.
