Undefined Colt AR-15 variant

Some Serbian soldiers can be seen with the carbines which look like M4 with too shortened barrels. Unfortunately this weapon shown only in movement. So it's impossible to get good screenshot

No, it's not a MK18. You can see in the first pic that it lacks the knobs to remove the carry handle. The handguards also look like the older cylindrical handguards rather than the double heat shield versions used on most carbines today and the delta ring is the older A1 version instead of the angled A2 version in use today. It looks like an XM177E1 with an A1 flash hider.

The Vietnamese make a copy of the XM177E1 that they call the "M18" (this was also a slang term often used by US troops to refer to the XM177 series, from what a couple of vets have told me), so maybe it's one of these? IDK if Spain imports any weapons from Vietnam, though. But the coloration doesn't look right for an airsoft to me. Most airsoft XM177s I've seen have the anodized (sp?) black color scheme of modern AR-15s rather than the greyish "aluminum" color that the example pictured has. Someone who has seen the movie will have to tell us whether or not it's fired, but all the visible details in the screenshots provided point to an XM177E1 with an A1 flash hider.
