- It looks like you're right, I just looked it up and I found this gun called a 1860 Colt Army Revolver, it looks similar to a Single Action Army, but dosen't have the top part. When I saw it in the movie, I assumed it was an old fashion version of the SAA.
- Its definitely a Colt cap and ball revolver converted for cartridges. In the picture in the article you can clearly see there's no top strap, and a plunger instead of the loading lever.
