The revolver in the first two caps actually looks like a Smith & Wesson Model 15, since the ejector rod is unshrouded. Is the revolver in the third cap supposed to be the same one? --Funkychinaman 09:46, 1 August 2012 (CDT)

Smith & Wesson Model 15 .38 Special
Holland readies his revolver.
Holland holds his revolver.
It is supposed to be the same revolver but of course there could be a continuity error. The second revolver appeares in the scene of the car chase and until the end of the movie. When I created the page I had a brief thought that these revolvers have different front sights but I was so unsure that put them as one. Greg-Z 10:00, 1 August 2012 (CDT)

Sawn off shotgun

Browning BPS? The BPS page doesn't have production dates, so I can't be sure it was around when the movie was made, but then again, it was designed by John Pedersen, who died in 1951. --Funkychinaman 11:09, 1 August 2012 (CDT)

Browning BPS was my first idea too, but it has the ejection port at the bottom, while the movie shotgun - at the left side. Greg-Z 11:19, 1 August 2012 (CDT)
Oh weird. There can't be that many shotguns that eject to the left. --Funkychinaman 11:22, 1 August 2012 (CDT)
I tried but my googling found nothing. Can it be some custom version for left-handed users? Greg-Z 11:35, 1 August 2012 (CDT)
I was thinking that too, but would it be worth it? For example, you can get a custom left-handed bolt action rifle, but that's because no one makes a production left-handed bolt action rifle. If you're looking for a left handed shotgun, you could always get a production BPS or an Ithaca 37. Why pay extra just for a lefty ejection port? --Funkychinaman 11:43, 1 August 2012 (CDT)
I googled again and now I was lucky: Remington Model 870 Express Left-Hand! Greg-Z 12:04, 1 August 2012 (CDT)
Well then. Nice catch. --Funkychinaman 12:06, 1 August 2012 (CDT)
