Grenade Sniping

In the game you can kill Germans by shooting at the grenades on their belt which then explode.

Is this plausible? Because if real life grenades could be set off by stray rounds then that just seems like an incredible liability. BreezyFresh 16:55, 26 April 2012 (GMT)

• The head of a grenade is small and moves around a lot as someone moves. While it might theoretically be possible to hit it and not have the bullet glance off the curved grenade head, it'd be the kind of show-off trick shooting you wouldn't bother with in actual combat since the guy's head or heart would be a far easier and more reliable shot. Think of it as rather like trying to shoot someone in the magazine of their gun in the hope it'll blow up in their hands in terms of overall practicality. Evil Tim 02:14, 27 April 2012 (CDT)
