Could shot feasibly be fired through barrels bent like they are in the film without the discharge injuring the shooter? Spartan198 (talk) 19:45, 10 January 2014 (EST)

I'm not sure about a weapon firing shot instead of slugs or cartridges, but I do know of one experimental version of the Sturmgewehr 44 the Nazi's toyed with that had a barrel with a 90-degree bend, the idea being to allow soldiers to shoot around corners without having to expose themselves to enemy fire. Not sure how well it worked though. Orca1 9904 (talk) 22:54, 10 January 2014 (EST)
