| + | I don't have any clear screenshots available, but it seems to me that the muskets identified as Springfield 1842 variants could also be Austrian-made Lorenz rifle-muskets. Lorenz muskets?
I don't have any clear screenshots available, but it seems to me that the muskets identified as Springfield 1842 variants could also be Austrian-made Lorenz rifle-muskets. The front of the barrel seems similar in appearance, and it would explain why most of these particular weapons are lacking ram rods; Lorenz rifles' ram rods were typically shipped separately. ---E2theSamps 05:20, 25 September 2011 (CDT)
