i'm pretty sure Seth's revolver as not a Smith and Wesson. i think i saw it somewhere identified as an Astra Terminator.

Texas Ranger

How does the Ranger get capped in this movie but is alive and well in Planet Terror? Rangers are tough, but people only survive taking a .45 to the head every once in a while-S&Wshooter 21:00, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

The same Ranger is alive as well in "Kill Bill" I´d say, these movies haven´t been made in the chronologicalm order. You know, like "Star Wars". But that´s just a wild guess.

Earl McGraw, the Ranger, was a character created by Quentin Tarantinofor the movie, but he and Robert Rodriguez liked the character so much that they allowed each other to use him in their movies if they wish. From there they have used him in their movies. It has been mentioned there is chronological storyline in his appearances, but neither Tarantino or Rodriguez have ever certified it. I hope this has answered your question. Plus i bet he is tough enough to take the bullet though. 21:00, 10 October 2009 (GMT)

Moreover, Hollywood is worldwide famous for its characters' random immortality.

Shotgun

From the profile of the receiver, I'm guessing the sawed-off shotgun with the funky loop foregrip is actually a High Standard 8113. Mossbergs don't have those 'scallops' cut out of them.

I took these images from the main page. They don't really show the gun all that well. I have a few images on the main page updated with better ones and some added. Will do the rest later. --Predator20 02:13, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

YOUR IMAGES ARE BETTER THAN MINES, I WAS THINKING OF DOING THE SCREENCAPS FOR THIS MOVIE, IS JUST THAT I AM BUSY ON A FEW PERSONAL PROJECTS. THIS IS A GREAT MOVIE DONT' CHA. --Dillinger 03:07, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Dusk Till Dawn is one of my favorites from back in the day.

Dillinger, what scene is this screencap taken from? It shows the slide well. May help identity the make..--Predator20 03:12, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

It's when richie checks through the window to see who is, when seth comes back from the town. A little bit before we see what richie do to their hostage. --Dillinger 03:51, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

isn't it when the RV with the Fullers and Geckos arrives outside the Titty Twister? Richie is looking at some of the bikers through the RV window.

Thanks anonymous user. That's the scene. My image while clearer, is not as bright as Dillinger's. So the make is still unknown.--Predator20 00:02, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

Teaser

Has any one of you seen the teaser that came out in 1991 with Joe Pilato as Seth Gecko, which revolver uses? here is the link: [[1]]

GP100

removed from main page

(Question- Why dont they pick up Richies 1911A1 and use that against the Vamps. Carve some crosses in the FMJ, if that didnt work, at least kneecap em or something.)

NOTE: Honestly I want to thank the poster for elaborating that the revolver is an Astra Terminator 44 Mag. I have been trying to figure that out for so long and had at least 4 different revolvers I thought it was. Terminator being one. Thanks man thats awesome.-REMY

.45 pattern

Why is it that Quentin Tarentino always uses some type of .45 when he stars in movies?

Maybe he's a fan of them.--Predator20 19:44, 27 June 2011 (CDT)

Good point.

Shotgun: Higgins or Winchester

I do believe the cross-shotgun is the Higgins Model 20. Look at where the barrel joins the receiver on both models and then compare to the shotgun in the movie. Rockinthecasbah (talk) 20:11, 25 March 2014 (EDT)

The magazine tube is also too long on the Winchester. Rockinthecasbah (talk) 20:12, 25 March 2014 (EDT)

I changed it to a Winchester Model 1912 based on the location of the safety. --Funkychinaman (talk) 23:21, 25 March 2014 (EDT)
On closer inspection, the receiver looks more like a Higgins Model 21 (which has the safety in the same location as the Winchester 1912). But the barrel and magazine still match the Model 20. With the amount of customization is it possible this is a hybrid of mixed parts? Rockinthecasbah (talk) 02:00, 26 March 2014 (EDT)

It's not just the location of the safety, it's the fact that the safety appears to be recessed. The band connecting the barrel and the tube appear to be the same as well. As for the length of the tube, it could be distorted based on the length of the loop foregrip. --Funkychinaman (talk) 02:39, 26 March 2014 (EDT)

Winchester Model 1912 Riot Gun - 12 Gauge
Note the location and shape of the safety.
Note the bands where the barrel meets the mag tube.
The band also matches the Model 20. The shotgun in the movie does not have the same receiver as the 1912. Aside from the safety, there aren't any other similarities to the 1912. It also appears to have very similar coloration on the bolt as the Model 21. My best guess would be a Model 21 with the barrel and magazine of the Model 20 (if that is even possible). The pump doesn't look like it's long enough to cover up the longer magazine of the 1912. Is there anybody else who can provide any input on this? Rockinthecasbah (talk) 04:14, 26 March 2014 (EDT)
