Being that it's pump-action only, wouldn't the PA3 be based on Franchi's PA7 or PA8, rather than the SPAS12? The naming scheme even clues you in here You have the PA8, which is pump-action only, then you have the LAW12, which is self-loading only, with the SPAS12 being like the PA8 and LAW12 combined into a single "select-fire" gun, so to say.
