Possibly a Browning 1910/21 instead of the French MAB Model D. Look at the logo on the grip. That's the old style FN logo. And while the MAB is based on the Browning I don't believe it has a grip safety while the Browning does have a grip safety. It appears the the pistol being held by Truffaut has a grip safety.
