So, my best guess is that agents between 1950 and 1984 could choose which one to carry. FBI
Didn't the FBI carry the Colt Official Police revolver in this era rather than the S&W Model 10? I'm not saying the identification is wrong since the film is probably not accruate, I'm just curious as to what the FBI actually issued during this period. -Anonymous
- According to http://worldinventory.googlepages.com/pw_federal the FBI carried the Colt Official Police from 1938-1984 and concurrently the S&W Model 10 from 1950-1991.
