It is a PKM- note the front sight, the feed cover and the folded bipod- all of them correspond to the actual weapon and not the L7. As for why it is in British use, the weapon is only seen for roughly 2-3 seconds before the scene cuts, which isn't really long enough for most viewers to notice. [[User: Markit|Markit]]
