Fake XM177 Base
It states it as possibly being built off of a Sporter II Carbine, but as I understand, all Sporters have 'slab-side' lower receivers without the mag fencing, while the movie carbine's lower clearly has the fencing around the mag release, that is, an A1 lower. With that, wouldn't the base gun be more likely one of the non-Sporter carbines, such as a Colt Model 653? StanTheMan (talk) 00:03, 21 February 2015 (EST)
