Miscellaneous

M3 Fighting Knife

An M3 fighting knife is seen on the loading screen of the mission "Approaching Hill 400".

M1905 Bayonet

What appears to be an M1905 bayonet or a derivative is seen on the loading screen of the mission "Approaching Hill 400".

Cut weapons

FG 42

The FG42 was planned to appear in Call of Duty 2, but was later cut and replaced with the G43 from Call of Duty: United Offensive. However, the files for this weapon can be still found in game files (including sounds, images, models, textures and the pickup icon).

FG 42 second model with bipod and ZFG42 scope - 7.92x57mm

Panzerfaust 60

Despite the Panzerfaust not being in-game, low-resolution texture sheets and HUD icons are found in the game files, alongside seemingly working animation strings and sound files. Judging by strings in panzerfaust_mp the weapon would've also been available in multiplayer.

Panzerfaust - 44mm with 149mm warhead

Discussion

First-person screencaps

I posted screencaps for (almost) every weapon in 1st person mode. i need to do a few more, but those will be done later this week.--GunGeek 08:15, 16 January 2012 (CST)

Could use some captions, also reloads. There's a few interesting little oddities in the reloads, like that the inside of the Mosin-Nagant is shown made of wood. Evil Tim 08:31, 16 January 2012 (CST)
Good idea, i'll add the reloads now.--GunGeek 08:45, 16 January 2012 (CST)

Back2Fronts mod

Anyone else played it? It adds a bunch of new weapons and bonus single player missions. Not sure if it's really eligible for it's own page though--AgentGumby (talk) 22:33, 10 April 2017 (EDT)

As it's a mod I'd have to say it won't be eligable for it's own page, unless it gets a standalone release like Insurgency did through an offical distributor. --RedRobinAlpha (talk) 09:05, 13 April 2017 (EDT)
If it's big enough could it get it's own "page" here in the discussions as I've seen with other titles? -SeptemberJack (talk) 14:21, 13 April 2017 (EDT)
Well there is a page for Firearms: Source mod of Half-Life 2 and there are also pages for Project Reality and RHS: Escalation.--AgentGumby (talk) 16:10, 13 April 2017 (EDT)
