I think if it was a 38 you would see a vertical projection of the lower shield by the far wheel. also, the bracket that holds the barrel to the recoil track has 3 bolts on a 38, and only 2 on a 40 and it looks like that only has the 2. | + | ::Actually, I'm now swinging back to a 38 as it generally looks a bit small compared to the guy on the right, I think the outside parts of the shield may be curved rather than straight, and it is also missing the little piece of shield that is mounted under the gun itself which is on a 40. I thought this was a Pak 38, but now that I see how similar it looks to the Pak 40, I'm not so sure anymore. Any thoughts? --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:47, 18 September 2013 (EDT)
