Early models were intended for basic shooting training, but they quickly became popular among hunters. The most widely produced models are single-shot TOZ-7, TOZ-8 (more than one million produced), TOZ-12, and magazine-fed TOZ-17 and TOZ-18. In the modern day, TOZ produces the TOZ-78 model.
