Superman and the Mole Men was the first feature film adaptation of the DC Comics superhero series. The film, which marked the debut of George Reeves as the Man of Steel, served as the initial trial for the television series that would premiere a year later. The film would later serve as a two-part episode of series' first season.
The following weapons were used in the film Superman and the Mole Men:
Smith & Wesson Model M&P
Luke Benson (Jeff Corey) is seen trying to fire a Smith & Wesson Model M&P revolver at Superman (George Reeves). The M&P also is the revolver seen fired at the beginning of the each episode of the series when the narrator states "Faster than a speeding bullet".
Winchester Model 1912
A Winchester Model 1912 shotgun is also used by Benson.
Winchester Model 1894
A Winchester Model 1894 is another weapon held by Benson. Superman (George Reeves) is seen taking the rifle and bending the barrel.
