Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987)

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace is the final film that featured Christopher Reeve as the Man of Steel. The 1987 sequel follows Superman as he once again battles the likes of Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman), who unleashes his new creation: Nuclear Man. While waging this battle, the Man of Steel also leads a worldwide crusade to rid the planet of nuclear weapons. The film series would continue with Brandon Routh as Superman in 2006's Superman Returns (although that film ignored the events of this film and Superman III).
