Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is the second sequel series to the original Star Trek. Set during the same time period as Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine starred Avery Brooks as Commander (later Captain) Benjamin Sisko, a Starfleet officer in command of a Federation outpost at the edge of the galaxy. The majority of the real-world firearms seen in this series were in the episodes that involved time travel or a Holodeck simulation. The series aired for 7 seasons in syndication from 1993 to 1999.

The following weapons were used in the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine:

Pistols

High Standard Sharpshooter M

In the episode "Our Man Bashir", Miles O'Brien (Colm Meaney) is superimposed onto the holosuite character "Falcon," an assassin for hire, who menaces Dr. Bashir (Alexander Siddig) with a High Standard Sharpshooter M.

M1911

In the Season Four episode "Little Green Men," Ferengi Quark (Armin Shimmerman), Rom (Max Grodenchik), and Nog (Aron Eisenberg), accidentally travel back in time to Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947, when they are captured by the U.S. military. The majority of the U.S soldiers are armed with M1911 pistols, which is somewhat anachronistic considering the M1911A1 had long since replaced the M1911 by that point in time.

Quark, Rom and Nog finds themselves held at gunpoint with Colt M1911 pistols before being taken away for interrogation.
After Nog knocks Captain Wainwright (James MacDonald) to the ground, an MP threatens him with his M1911. This particular MP is played by Ken Lesco, a veteran stuntman who had appearances in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager.

Walther P38

Falcon´s thugs in "Our Man Bashir" are armed with Walther P38 as their sidearms. In "A Simple Investigation", Chief O´Brien reprises his role as Falcon, where he uses a Walther P38 instead of the High Standard HDM seen in "Our Man Bashir".

Walther PPK

In the episode "Our Man Bashir", the protagonists are trapped in a holosuite running a James Bond-esque spy simulation, the malfunction also causing Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks) to believe he is the character he's playing; an evil scientist bent on world domination named Dr. Noah. Both he and Julian Bashir (Alexander Siddig) are armed with Walther PPK's as their main weapons.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5K

The police officers outside the Sanctuary District in "Past Tense, Part II" are most prominently seen with Heckler & Koch MP5K submachine guns. The men ultimately use them with mounted laser aiming modules.

Shotguns

Remington Model 870 Folding Stock

In the episode "Past Tense", Benjamin Sisko and several other protagonists are sent back in time to 21st-century San Francisco due to a transporter accident, arriving just before a major riot that led to a major change in human rights on Earth. Several San Francisco Police officers can be seen armed with Remington Model 870 folding stock shotguns, one of which Sisko gets a hold of when a hostage situation develops, using it to try to maintain order and protect the hostages.

Julian's backup gun

Julian Bashir, Secret Agent's backup weapon is a custom prop made from a frame that fits into the heel of his shoe and a barrel disguised as a pen cap. The rounds are disguised as buttons on his suit. The concept sketch can be seen here.
