The following firearms were used in the film Some Like It Hot:

Winchester Model 1897

When Spats' henchmen (Mike Mazurki and Harry Wilson) are being chased by the police in the opening scene, they each grab a Winchester Model 1897 from the ceiling of the hearse and fire back, disabling the police car. Some of his henchmen, including "Tiny" (Pat Comiskey), also fire Winchester '97s during the film's version of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre.

Smith & Wesson Model 10

The Chicago policemen chasing Spats' henchmen all fire Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers at them. A Model 10 is also seen as one of the confiscated weapons during the "Friends of Italian Opera" mob convention in Miami.

M1911A1

When Joe (Tony Curtis) and Jerry (Jack Lemmon) enter Toothpick Charlie's North Side garage, one of Charlie's henchmen draws an M1911A1 on them.

Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless

Toothpick Charlie (George E. Stone) holds a Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless on Joe and Jerry when they enter his garage.

Thompson M1921

Spats Colombo (George Raft) and his henchmen (Harry Wilson and Mike Mazurki) fire Thompson M1921AC submachine guns at Toothpick Charlie's mob during the film's version of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. The same henchman later has a Thompson confiscated in Miami when he tries to conceal it in a golf bag. The mob hitman in Miami fires a Thompson at Spats' mob, killing all five of them when he jumps out of a birthday cake firing.

Harry Wilson holds a Thompson on the auto mechanic in the garage when he tries to hide.

After killing Toothpick Charlie's men, Spats' mob turns their Thompsons towards Joe and Jerry.

Spats himself is given a Thompson to mow down Toothpick Charlie when he reaches for a phone during the massacre.

The "Sergeant-at-arms", as he is referred to, pulls the "golf club" Thompson out of a henchman's bag.

The mob hitman mows down Spats and his four henchmen.

Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer

The "Sergeant-at-arms" is disarmed of a Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer by Spats.

Spats tosses the weapons inspector's own pistol in with the others.

Browning Hi-Power

The "Sergeant-at-arms" finds a pistol appearing to be a Browning Hi-Power (anachronistic for the film's 1929 setting) in a henchman's (Mike Mazurki) pant leg. When the henchman growls "It ain't loaded", the man unrolls the henchman's other pant leg, revealing a large quantity of ammunition.

A pistol drops out of the henchman's pant leg onto the floor.

The bullets for the "unloaded" pistol drop out from the other pant leg.
