Sneakers is a 1992 thriller starring Robert Redford as the head of a group of hackers who are tricked into recovering the ultimate codebreaking machine.


The following guns were used in the film Sneakers:

Smith & Wesson Model 66

The Smith & Wesson Model 66 is the weapon Donald Crease (Sydney Poitier) takes out when the team discovers how dangerous the codebreaking machine can be. Martin Bishop (Robert Redford) then takes it with him to the meeting with the Russian attache.

Smith & Wesson 439

An early model of the Smith & Wesson 5906 is featured prominently in the film.

Early Model Smith & Wesson 5906 - 9x19mm. The early model 5906 pistols had the finger step trigger guard, but they changed it to the rounded trigger guard for 'ease of production'.

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is in the hands of an NSA agent at the end of the film.

Mossberg 500

The Mossberg 500 shotgun is featured prominently in the film.

Heckler & Koch MP5K

The female NSA Agent at the end carries a Heckler & Koch MP5K. Carl (River Phoenix) hilariously refers to the weapon as an Uzi.
