SIX is an original History Channel series that takes a look at the lives of the members of the "Tier One" level of the Navy SEAL community (currently designated as DEVGRU, but also known as "SEAL Team Six") as they deal with both the missions that have been tasked with and how they cope with the aftermath at home. Partly inspired by actual missions, the series was created and being co-executive produced by William Broyles, the screenwriter of such films as Jarhead (2005) and Flags of our Fathers. The series premiered in the US on the History Channel in January of 2017 and aired until July of 2018.
