'''Shalako''' is a 1968 British-German-Spain western film. Directed by Edward Dmytryk from a novel by Louis L'Amour. A team of European aristocrats Sir Charles Daggett ([[Jack Hawkins]]) with wife ([[Honor Blackman]]), Frederick Von Hallstatt ([[Peter van Eyck]]), Mrs Henry ([[Alexander Knox]]) and Elena ([[Valerie French]]) Clark and Countess Irina Lazaar ([[Brigitte Bardot]]) led by professional hunters goes to the Southwestern United States in the 1880's to hunt in Apaches territory. Girl Irina , who leaves the group is attacked by Indians and rescued by an adventurer called Shalako ([[Sean Connery]]), which promised the Chiefs son Chatou ([[Woody Strode]]), that white men to the dawn leaves. Europeans are strongly opposed to secession. He starts the fight for survival. The leader of the hunters Fulton ([[Stephen Boyd]]) robs Europeans, takes them to water and the horses and runs off with his friends - Luther ([[Bob Cunningham]]), Hockett ([[John Clark]]), Johnson ([[Bob Hall]]) and - Lady Daggett! The only one who can save the expedition is Shalako. The fight between Indians and whites, crossing deserts and over mountains, finding water, all would not do without his knowledge. The final duel between Shalako chat and decide on the fate of all.
