Sgt. Bilko (1996)

Sgt. Bilko is a 1996 military comedy directed by Jonathan Lynn and starring Steve Martin as Master Sergeant Ernest G. Bilko, head of the Motor Pool at the Fort Baxter US Army base and the leader of a band of misfit soldiers. The movie is based on The Phil Silvers Show, from which it takes its setting, back plot and characters.

The following weapons were used in the film Sgt. Bilko:

Colt M1911

A M1911 can be seen briefly on a drawing in the motorpool office.

In a flashback, Sgt. Bilkos (Steve Martin) right-hand man looks right down the barrel of his M16A2. Not very bright.
Shortly before Fenders little mishap with his M16A2, Pfc. Holbrook (Daryl Mitchell) watches as Bilko attempts to make his men look like actual soldiers.

An M60 can be seen mounted on top of the turret of the hover tank.
