Seven Psychopaths is a 2012 black comedy written and directed by Martin McDonagh (In Bruges). Marty Faranan (Colin Farrell), an alcoholic screenwriter, struggles to write his latest screenplay, Seven Psychopaths. His best friend Billy Burke (Sam Rockwell) is an out-of-work actor who, along with Hans Kieslowski (Christopher Walken), kidnaps dogs and then returns them to their owners for the reward money. Marty becomes entangled in their scheme after the two abduct a ruthless gangster's (Woody Harrelson) beloved Shih Tzu, forcing them to go into hiding.
