Sheriff Dwight "Dewey" Riley (David Arquette) carries a snub nose Colt Python throughout the film. At one point, Gale Weathers (Courtney Cox) is seen with the Colt.

Det. Mark Kincaid (Patrick Dempsey) also carries a American Derringer Model 1. He enters the secret screening room with it, but is knocked out by the killer. The killer then uses it to fire the two rounds.
