Run Boy Run is a 2013 French-German-Polish movie by the director and producer Pepe Danquart. In the winter of 1942, nine-year-old Srulik (the twins Kamil and Andrzej Tkacz took turns portraying him) escapes from the Warsaw ghetto. Srulik's father gives his son the advice never to forget his Jewish roots, an advice the boy soon has to understand in his own body: His life is by no means saved when he escapes from the Jewish ghetto. In the midst of the turmoil of the Second World War, the Polish population must also fight for bare survival - and the Nazis, who are always effectively organized, offer a bounty for the denunciation of fugitive enemies of the people.

The following weapons were used in the film Run Boy Run:

Handguns

Nagant M1895

An old member (Waldemar Obloza) of a partisan unit is seen with a Nagant 1895 Revolver.

Nagant M1895 - 7.62x38N cartridge
The leader walks with his revolver in hand to crying Srulik Frydman / Jurek Staniak.

Walther P38

The SS officer (Rainer Bock) is armed with a Walther P38.

Walther P38 with black grips - 9x19mm
The P38 is seen on the left lying on the table. Note the shoulder insignia of his uniform matches an SS-Obersturmbannführer (Lieutenant Colonel) but he is simply credited as "SS Officer".
Suspicious of the situation, the SS officer racks the slide of his P38 while going to the barn. During the preparation, he keeps his finger on the trigger all the time which is partly correct since the trigger discipline was not a standard technique during WWII but is often seen in modern media as some of the following pictures will show.
Another view of his held pistol as he is on the way to the entrance.

Luger P08

A Luger P08 is briefly seen in the hands of an SS-Scharführer (Sergeant Major) (Urs Rechn). Several other Waffen SS officers including an SS-Obersturmführer (First Lieutenant) (Sebastian Hülk) carry holsters for Luger pistols which are not clearly seen inside.

Luger P08 - 9x19mm
While holding the Luger in the right hand, the Scharführer approaches a box in which the boy could hide. Unlike the higher-ranking SS officer he has a good trigger discipline.

Submachine Guns

PPSh-41

PPSh-41 submachine guns are used by the partisan unit and Soviet soldiers.

Full view of his PPSh while leaving grieving Srulik.
A Soviet soldier with his slung submachine gun in a camp in front of Warsaw in August 1944.
Another soldier offers Srulik his gun who fans it and pulls the trigger.
After asking a Soviet soldier (Eduard Burza) why they are not supporting the Polish uprising, Srulik turns around to a tankist cleaning his PPSh.

MP40

Many German and Waffen SS soldiers are armed with MP40s.

MP40s in the SS armory taken by alamed soldiers to go for a hunt.
Two NCOs next to an SS-Sturmbannführer (Jochen Hägele) with their MP40s while giving orders.
One soldier of SS-Obersturmführer's men carries his MP.
The stock of the MP is used to break a window.

MP41

One SS soldier can be seen with an MP41.

The left guard on the watchtower stands with the MP41.
The same guard opens fire at the fleeing Srulik.

Rifles

Karabiner 98k

The Karabiner 98k is the main rifle for the Waffen SS in the movie. Most of them are equipped with hooded front sights and sometimes with bayonets.

The same soldiers fire their Kar98ks at a fleeing man. These two examples are not fitted with hooded sights.

Mauser Puška vz. 24

VZ-24 Czech Mauser rifles with fixed bayonets are used by soldiers in the Ghetto in the memories of Srulik Fridman (Andrzej Tkacz).

Puška vz. 24 - 7.92x57mm Mauser
Two soldiers (Oliver Bigalke is the right one) with the Czech Mausers at the checkpoint.
One of the soldiers stabs his fixed bayonet into the Carriage to check if someone is hiding in it to Srulik's dismay.

Mauser Gewehr 1898

Some German soldiers and Hilfspolizei can briefly be seen with Gewehr 98 rifles during the same scene.
