Roadracers (1994)

Roadracers is a 1994 made for television film that was the first English language film directed by Robert Rodriguez. Originally part of a film anthology that aired on the Showtime network, the drama starred David Arquette as a rebellious young man in the 1950's who is at odds with the local sheriff and his son. The film also co-starred Salma Hayek, who made her American film debut.

Teddy Leather (Jason Wiles) is given what appears to be a nickel-plated Smith & Wesson Model 60 by his father Sarge (William Sadler) to use against Dude Delaney (David Arquette). Later, Teddy´s girlfriend Julie (Tammy Brady Conrad), is seen with the revolver.
