Road Hawks (also known as The Road Vultures; Russian title: Стервятники на дорогах, Stervyatniki na dorogakh) is a 1990 Soviet action movie. Truck driver (Oleg Fomin) confronts a unbridled criminal organization which robs and kills drivers, acting under the guise of a road maintenance service, and operating alongside a biker gang and local police.

The following weapons were used in the film Road Hawks (Stervyatniki na dorogakh):

"StG-44k"

One of the bandits (uncredited) carries the custom compact StG-44. Such weapon today are sometimes referred to as "StG-44k", with a note that it was allegedly tested during the WW2, although there is no evidence for this and all "StG-44k" are modern replicas. The gun used in the film is noteworthy in that it is fully operational (which means that work was carried out to transfer the gas system). This same compact StG-44 can be seen later in some other Belarusfilm movies, such as Gladiator for Rent (Gladiator po naymu) and Between Life and Death (Mezhdu zhiznyu i smertyu).

"StG-44k" - 7.92x33mm Kurz. This is a modern modification of the full-size rifle. The in-movie gun is similar to this one, except the standard gas tube removed, and no folding buttstock.
StG-44 fires during the chase.
