Reno 911!: Miami (2007)

The following weapons were used in the movie Reno 911!: Miami:

Beretta 92FS

Just like in the series, the standard sidearm for the Reno Sheriff's Department is the Beretta 92FS. It is also the standard sidearm of the Miami Beach Sheriff's Department. Dangle uses his 92FS to shoot himself in the toe, while trying to pistol whip the chicken. Junior also shoots himself accidentally in the vest, while trying to break open a nut with the butt of his gun during the end credits.

Glock 17

In the opening scene, Deputies Kimball and Johnson carry 2nd generation Glock 17. The FBI agent who poses as Ethan's girlfriend uses a 2nd generation Glock 17. NOTE: Just because the FBI uses G22's in real life, doesn't make the one in this film a G22. It is safer to assume that it is in fact a G17, since they are more easily acquirable. Unless confirmed otherwise by an armorer who worked on the particular film, these are appointed as G17's.

Colt Single Action Army

The standard sidearm for Sheriff of Aspen (David Koechner) of Aspen Sheriff's Department appears to be the Colt Single Action Army.

Desert Eagle

A chromed or nickel plated Desert Eagle is seen carried by a female deputy in a hip holster.

Remington 870

In the opening scene, Deputy Weigel carries a Remington 870 with a SureFire tactical light. She also uses one without a tactical light in the scene with the loose chicken in Reno.

Various pistols

When Dangle and Junior attempt to break up the loud rap party, Dangle, having tried to get the patrons to lower their music, fires his Beretta into the air, causing all the patrons to instantly draw various pistols on them.

The pistol on Travis' head, just below the Desert Eagle and an unknown piece, is a nickel plated and engraved Colt M1911A1 variant.

A Colt Mark IV Series 80 - .45. The one in the movie is similar to this one, but not identical.

Just below the M1911, there's a Smith & Wesson 5904.

There's also a stainless Jericho 941 R pointed on Junior's head on the foreground.

Also a thug is holding a Smith & Wesson 645 in his right hand pointing it on Dangles forehead.

On the background, just between the cops, there is either a nickel plated (or stainless) Makarov PM or Walther PP.

Trivia

The character Ethan the Drug Lord is a parody of fictional drug lord Tony Montana from the movie Scarface. His resemblance to Montana includes his heavy involvement in the cocaine trade (which is why he is involved with "Mr. Big"), his frequent cigar smoking, his haircut, his 1980s clothing, and his Cuban accent (which turns out to be fake; he admits at the end that he is originally from Colorado and that he moved to Miami because cocaine wasn't popular in his home state.) At one point in the movie, when Ethan's men kidnap Jones and Garcia, Ethan attempts to torture a man with a weed-wacker, a nod to the infamous chainsaw torture sequence in Scarface.
