Regina King is an African-American actress well known for her roles in such films and series as Jerry Maguire, Ray, 24, and Enemy of the State in addition to her role as Det. Lydia Adams in the series Southland. In 2019, she received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the 2018 film If Beale Street Could Talk.
