Ray Stevenson (1964-2023) was an English actor who appeared in such films as RRR, Big Game (2014) and The Book of Eli in addition to his role as Frank Castle, aka "The Punisher", in 2008's Punisher: War Zone. He also appeared in the MCU as the warrior Volstagg in 2011's Thor. He passed away at the age of 58 on May 22, 2023, from undisclosed causes.
