The following guns are seen in this film

Glock 19

Detective Jimmy Shaker (Gary Sinise) carries a 9mm Glock 19 NYPD Issue throughout the film as his sidearm.

Smith and Wesson Model 36

Maris Connor (Lili Taylor) has a Smith and Wesson Model 36 in this film. She uses it to shoot Jimmy Shaker, and contemplates suicide, but does not pull the trigger.

Beretta 84 Cheetah

Detective Jimmy Shaker carries a .380 Beretta Cheetah as a backup gun, but only has it when going to Tom Mullen's house. At the end of the film, Tom Mullen (Mel Gibson) uses it to kill Jimmy Shaker. It then falls to the ground.

Smith and Wesson Model 640

Finally, Jimmy Shaker carries a .38 Smith and Wesson Model 640 as another backup gun. He tries to pull it out as a last shot to kill Tom Mullen, but Mullen kills him with the help of Agent Lonnie Hawkins (Delroy Lindo).

Smith and Wesson Model 659

FBI Agent Lonnie Hawkins uses a Smith and Wesson Model 659 as his sidearm in this film. He only uses it to kill Jimmy Shaker at the end of the film. Other uniformed NYPD cops also use the 659.

The FBI quit using 9mm pistols in 1988, and moved to the .40 caliber pistols in 1991. This is a minor glitch.

Unknown Revolvers

Uniformed NYPD cops carry unknown revolvers at the end of the film.
