The hand grenade Model 1914 was developed in Russian Empire by Rdutlovsky. These hand grenades were primary grenades of the Russian Army during the World War I. RG-14 was in use by Russian and Soviet Army until 1930

RG-14/30
In 1930, the RG-14 hand grenade has been modernized. Its capacity and reliability have been increased. To improve the kill radius on grenades can be fitted a fragmentation sleeve.
