During his service in Afghanistan, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) carries a custom Kimber 1911 variant with the slide and grips of a Kimber Warrior and the frame and full length guide rod of the Kimber Custom TLE II as his sidearm and is seen using it in "Kandahar" (S1E03). He later finds an identical pistol in the stolen shipment of guns and uses it for several episodes. Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) appears to carry a Kimber Warrior in some episodes.

Brett Mahoney (Royce Johnson, reprising his role from Daredevil and Jessica Jones) also appears to carry the SIG in "Virtue of the Vicious" (S1E10).

Frank also uses the weapon in "Gunner" (S1E05) and in "Danger Close" (S1E11).

SIG-Sauer 516

ICE agents use the SIG-Sauer 516 carbines during training in "Two Dead Men" (S1E02). A similar carbine fitted with an ACOG scope is used by Lewis Wilson (Daniel Webber) in "Front Toward Enemy" (S1E09). NYPD ESU teams are seen carrying SIG 516s in "Virtue of the Vicious" (S1E10). All of the SIG 516s in this show appear to be 10" 516 uppers on standard M4A1 lower receivers, as evidenced by the fact that they all have the standard 6-position Colt "LE" stock instead of the proprietary SIG carbine stock.

Carbines are used in "Two Dead Men" (S1E02). Note that these are missing front sights and are equipped with carrying handles.

One of the masked soldiers in "The Judas Goat" (S1E06) is armed with a SIG 516 based on the contour of the magazine release fencing.

A similar carbine fitted with an ACOG scope is used by Lewis Wilson (Daniel Webber) in "Front Toward Enemy" (S1E09). Note that his rifle is clearly a 10" 516 upper on a standard Colt (or similar) full-auto lower, as evidenced by the six-position "LE" stock on this weapon.

Heckler & Koch HK416

While in Afghanistan, Frank and members of his unit are armed with spray painted Heckler & Koch HK416s in "Kandahar" (S1E03). The 416s in the show are fitted with the newer slimline G28-style buttstock developed for the HK416 A5 model, as well as different optical sights, vertical foregrips, PEQ-15s and flashlights. The sound effects used in the episode makes it seem like they are firing at a much-higher fire rate than standard on full auto.

Colt M4A1 Carbine

Colt M4A1s are used by tac officers in Season 1, notably in "Cold Steel" (S1E08). One of the masked operatives in "The Judas Goat" (S1E06) is seen armed with a painted M4A1 Carbine with a G28 slimline tan stock, Trijicon ACOG, PEQ-15 laser module and flashlight. It seems to be fitted with a low profile gas block. It can be distinguished from the HK416 in the hands of the other operative by the lack of slope in the flattop receiver.

The Commando variant of the KE Arms KE-15 (with a KeyMod rail handguard, Billet Flared Magwell, and NP3 coating on the receiver and handguard) is utilized by Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) in "Memento Mori" (S1E13) during the final confrontation with Frank Castle. The use of this weapon in the show was confirmed in a Facebook post by KE Arms in 2017.

In "3AM" (S1E01), Frank uses what appears to be an Accuracy International AWSM-F rifle to eliminate a cartel leader.
