Prometheus is a 2012 science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott that is set in the same universe as in his original 1979 film Alien. The film stars Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, and Idris Elba and involves the crew of the spaceship Prometheus making a discovery of something that may cause the extinction of the human race. Unlike the original 1979 film, there are some working firearms used.

The following weapons appear in the film Prometheus:

Benelli M3T Super 90 (Modified)

A modified Benelli M3T Super 90 is used by a security officer inside the Alien dome/mountain. The weapon's folding stock has been colored orange and the shotgun has a blue muzzle flash when fired. It is also used by a crew member to defeat an infected crew member that attacks the hanger bay of Prometheus.

Walther GSP Expert

A Walther GSP expert, likely in .32 S&W automatic with a configuration similar to that of the .22 pistol are used by the crew members of the Prometheus. The .32 is generally identified with the extended magazine and blue finish.

Custom Flamethrower

Much like the crew of the Nostromo in the original Alien, the crew of the Prometheus also have custom-made flamethrowers at their disposal. Meredith Vickers (Charlize Theron) uses a flamethrower in a pivotal scene, and Captain Janek (Idris Elba) also uses one later in the film.
