The Pindad SS2 (Senapan Serbu 2, "Assault Rifle 2") series is first Indonesian-designed rifle family. They are based on the Pindad SS1 series, the Indonesian licensed FN FNC model, and are replacing them in service. There are multiple models for the SS2, known as SS2-V1 through V5 (though V3 is not produced).
There is also the Pindad SS3 series, which is the 7.62 mm version of the SS2.

Pindad SS2-V5 A1 - 5.56x45mm NATO
The SS2-V5 variant is the compact assault rifle model. There are also two variants of the V5, V5 A1 and V5C, which are tactical versions produced for Indonesian special forces.
