Overdose (El pico, the Spanish slang word for both the dose of heroin and picoleto, the Civil Guardsman) is a 1983 Spanish drama movie directed by Eloy de la Iglesia. It depicts the story of a 17-year-old drug addict boy Paco, the son of a high rank officer of Guardia Civil in Bilbao.

A sequel El pico 2 was released in 1984.

The following weapons were used in the film Overdose (El pico):

Pistols

Astra 400

Throughout the movie, Comandante (Major) of Guardia Civil Evaristo Torrecuadrada (José Manuel Cervino) is seen with a number of various pistols. The first of his handguns is an Astra 400 (Astra 600 is possible but less likely as model 400 is more common for the usage inside Spain while model 600 was intened primary for export).

Torrecuadrada takes the pistol out of the inside pocket of his civilian jacket, and hides it in the wardrobe. When Paco later takes the pistol from the wardrobe, the gun switches to a Star (see below).

Llama III

When Comandante Torrecuadrada visits the brothel, a Llama pistol, most likely a Llama III, falls from his pocket.

The pistol falls from the pocket of Torrecuadrada's civilian jacket. The Llama logo is perfectly seen on the grip. As the pistol lacks the vent rib, it's a Model III rather than IIIA.

Astra Constable

When Torrecuadrada is attacked by the Basque terrorists, he draws a pistol from his pocket. The gun is seen not very clear but Astra Constable seems to be a good guess. This pistol replaces the previously seen Llama due to a continuity error.

Astra 3000

During the argument with his son, Torrecuadrada draws a pistol from the service holster. While it looks similar to Astra 300, the notch on the rear part of the slide allows to identify the gun as Astra 3000, an improved version of model 300.

Star Model A Super

Torrecuadrada's son Paco (José Luis Manzano) steals his father's Star Model A Super pistol in order to use it during the visit to a drug dealer El Cojo ("The Lame"). In this scene the pistol is also held by Paco's friend Urco Aramendia (Javier Garsia), and later Paco returns the gun to Evaristo Torrecuadrada (José Manuel Cervino).
