Members of the mob that are searching George Milton (Gary Sinise) and Lennie Small (John Malkovich) are primarily armed with Winchester Model 1892 rifles. Curley (Casey Siemaszko) is seen with one near the end of the film.

Colt New Service

Carlson (Richard Riehle) keeps a long barreled Colt New Service under his pillow. He first takes it out when offering to shoot Candy's (Ray Walston) dog for him. George later takes it and uses it at the end of the film. Note: In the book, Carlson's gun was a Luger P08.
