New Police Story (2004). The weapon in Jackie Chan’s hand appears to be an amalgamation of a Beretta 92 series pistol and a Glock created in Photoshop by the ad department.

New Police Story is the 2004 "reboot" of Jackie Chan's Police Story movie franchise. Also released under the international title Xin jing cha gu shi, this film has a more serious action tone than the comedic turns of the previous four films. Jackie Chan would return to the series in 2013 with Police Story: Lockdown.

The following weapons were used in the film New Police Story:

Handguns

Glock 17

The Glock 17 is the sidearm carried by the Hong Kong Police CIB teams in the film. Senior Insp. Chan Kwok-Wing (Jackie Chan) is seen at one point having to compete with Joe (Daniel Wu) one last time to see who can assemble their Glock pistols the fastest. Both the 2nd and 3rd generations are seen in the film.

Smith & Wesson Model 10

Smith & Wesson 659

In the opening standoff, a distraught gunman is seen armed with an early model Smith & Wesson 659. When Chan zooms on the grenade, the guns switches to a Model 5906 (the same held by Joe later in the movie), probably a continuity error.

Custom AR-15

What appears to be a custom version of the AR-15 is seen being used by Sue Chow in the opening shootout. The rifle is fitted with an ACOG scope and two magazines clamped together. From one shot, it definitely looks like someone took the upper receiver of a flat top M4 and gave it a shorter barrel (or installed an upper from an SBR such as the Colt RO933) and slapped it onto a lower receiver with a solid stock. Conversely, it is also possible that it started out as a SBR, and the collapsible stock assembly was replaced with a fixed stock assembly.

M4A1

What appears to be an M4A1 (or replica) is seen on the convention center floor. Like Sue Chow's AR-15, it too is fitted with an ACOG scope as well as a RIS handguard.

L85A2

During the opening bank heist, one of the gang members with what appears to be an L85A2. Upon closer inspection, the rifle appears to an airsoft replica (due to the color of the handguard and that the charging handle and bolt appearing to be plastic).

Heckler & Koch MP5A2

The Heckler & Koch MP5A2s are used by the SDU Team during their raid on the Convention Center (Tactical Lights and Laser Devices are seen attached to their weapons). Is seen once briefly in the hands of one of the CIB team members during the opening gunfight. One of the gang members in the first bank robbery used an MP5 with tri-rails and a foregrip.
