NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service
#4 LARGEST TELEVISION PAGE ON THE SITE
NCIS is an US procedural series featuring agents of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service investigating cases involving military personnel in the Navy and Marine Corps. Most of the characters were introduced in the Season 8 episodes of JAG titled "Ice Queen" and "Meltdown". It premiered as a weekly series on CBS in September of 2003. NCIS Los Angeles is a spinoff of NCIS and several NCIS:LA characters were introduced in the episodes "Legend Part I" and "Legend Part II".

SIG-Sauer P228
The SIG-Sauer P228 is the main sidearm of nearly all the NCIS agents on the show including Special Agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), Caitlin Todd (Sasha Alexander) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). CGIS (Coast Guard Investigative Service) Special Agents Abigail Borin (Diane Neal) and Kyle Omagi (Eddie Shin) also are seen carrying SIG-Sauer P228's in Season 7's "Jurisdiction". FBI Agent Tobias Fornell (Joe Spano) is seen carrying a SIG-Sauer P228 in some episodes, notably "Identity Theft".
SIG-Sauer P229
In Season 4's "Faking It", retired NIS (Naval Investigative Service, the immediate predecessor to NCIS) Agent Mike Franks (Muse Watson) holds a two-tone SIG-Sauer P229 on an arms dealer that in his own words was a "scary son of a gun" that kept him awake for 15 years.
SIG-Sauer P239
In the NCIS episodes "Legend, Part I" and "Legend, Part II", NCIS Special Agent Kenzi Blye (Daniela Ruah) uses a SIG-Sauer P239 to threaten a group of bangers.
SIG-Sauer P220R
A suppressed SIG-Sauer P220R with a stainless finish is used by Guyman Purcell (Anthony Heald) to threaten Anna Real (Tania Raymonde) in Season 2's "Eye for an Eye".
Beretta 85F
In Season 2's "Forced Entry" (S2E09), Laura Rowens (Megan Ward) uses a Beretta 85F to shoot a man she thought was going to attack her. In Season 2's "Conspiracy Theory", Catherine Reynolds (Brigid Brannagh) is seen holding the Beretta on her partner in crime.
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS appears as the issue sidearm of various military personnel and in the hands of various characters throughout the series. Lt. Colonel Hollis Mann (Susanna Thompson) of the Army CID (Criminal Investigative Division) is seen carrying a Beretta 92FS and notably uses it in the Season 4 Episode "Sharif Returns".
In the Season 3 episode, "Kill Ari, Part 1", terrorist Ari Haswari (Rudolf Martin) holds Dr. Mallard's assistant, Gerald, hostage with one. Gibbs also keeps one in his car during the events of "Kill Ari: Part 2," as it is seen while he and Jenny are staking out Ari's safehouse.
In the later Season 3 episode, "Boxed In," Port Security Chief Matthew Lake (Daniel Roebuck) also carries one.
In the Season 4 premiere, "Shalom," Gibbs uses a Beretta to check out a possible terrorist's safehouse, after he has retired from NCIS and relinquished his SIG.
In the Season 6 episode "Deliverance," Ziva fires one on a Marine weapons range and claims to prefer the SIG. She also upsets the misogynistic range sergeant on duty, who doesn't expect women to know anything about handguns, by showing him his sight is off by a few millimeters.
Beretta 92FS Inox
In Season 6's "Deliverance", a gun dealer is seen showing a Beretta 92FS Inox to a customer, stating it's "Homie's best friend 9mm, it's Italian, 15 plus 1 in da tube" (echoing similar dialogue from Lethal Weapon. It is also used by the occasional adversary, sometimes equipped with a suppressor, notably in the Season 5 episode 'Designated Target'.
Beretta Cougar
In Season 3's "Light Sleeper," a defecting North Korean agent uses a Marine Sergeant's .40 caliber Beretta Cougar to execute two members of her sleeper cell. While examining it in her laboratory, Abby embarks on a brief segueway on critics' description of the .40 S&W round as a "Short and Wimpy," when measured against the 10mm Autoload.
Beretta M9A1
A Marine was killed by his own in one episode.
Browning Hi-Power
A Browning Hi-Power was seen and mentioned in Season 3's "Iced". Another one was seen on a table in Season 7's "Jack Knife".
Colt Government .38 Super
In Season 4's "Sandblast", Gibbs finds a Colt Government Model handgun in the store of the CIA informant Mamoun Sharif (Enzo Cilenti). Gibbs mentions that the handgun is ".38 Super, Colt", which means it's a Colt model chambered in .38 Super.
Colt MK IV Series 80
An engraved Colt MK IV Series 80 is drawn by Davey Chen (Ming Lo) in Season 4's "Once A Hero".
Colt Python
In Season 6's "Deliverance", a gun dealer is seen showing a Colt Python to a customer. A snubnosed version was held on Ziva while undercover in Season 6's "Recoil", and was used by her to shoot a serial killer.
Colt 1860 Army
In Season 3's "Silver War", a coffin is unearthed containing several weapons from the Civil War, including a Colt 1860 Army revolver.
Desert Eagle
In Season 5's "About Face" (S5E17), a suspect opens fire on Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) with a Desert Eagle sporting a stainless steel finish. Another baddie also used one but he was gunned down by Mike Franks.
Glock 17
DC-Metro Police Officers are seen carrying Glock 17s as well, notably in the Season 4 episode "Faking It".
Mossad Officer Michael Rivikin (Merik Tadros) pulls a Glock 17 on Callen during the the Season 6 episode "Legend, Part 2."
Ex-Army Ranger-turned-mercenary Jason Paul Dean (Dylan Bruno) pulls his Glock 17 on Gibbs after his arrival in Mexico in Season 7's "Patriot Down" (S7E23).
Glock 17 (Full Auto Conversion)
In Season 6's "Legend, Part 2", a two-toned Glock 17 converted to full auto with a 33 round magazine is used by the lead terrorist Haziq Khaleel (Nick Tarabay) in an attempt at repelling the OSP raid team.
Glock 17L
In Season 2's "Witness" (S2E14), a Glock 17L was found in the convertible sofa bed used by Petty officer Keith Dylan/Robert J. Thorn. It was misidentified as a SIG-Sauer and can be clearly seen in multiple other scenes as a Glock, most clearly when being test-fired into a bullet capture chamber by Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette).
Glock 19
The Glock 19 is used by numerous characters in the series. NCIS Special Agent Michelle Lee (Liza Lapira) while undercover is seen holding a Glock in Season 4's "Once A Hero".
Mike Franks uses one in the rescue of his daughter in law in Season 4's "Iceman".
NCIS Director Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly) is also seen trying to give La Grenouille (Armand Assante) a Glock in Season 5's "Bury the Dead".
In the Season 5 episode "Stakeout", DC-Metro Detective Andrea Sparr (Gretchen Egolf) is seen carrying a Glock 19 as her sidearm.
Glock 21
In Season 6's "Dead Reckoning" (S6E20), CIA Agent Trent Kort (David Dayan Fisher) uses a Glock 21 during a shootout at the beginning of the episode. After they are dead he picks up the dead guy's Smith and Wesson Tactical 9x19mm and wipes his Glock 21 for prints and puts it the hands of the dead terrorist.
Heckler & Koch P2000 SK
In Season 5's "Judgment Day, Part 1", Mike Franks gives Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly) a Heckler & Koch P2000 SK to use. Franks says the gun is a clean, with no registration number and is the one Jenny uses when engaging the shooters in the diner.
Heckler & Koch USP (two-tone)
Daniel Cryer (Erik Palladino) pulls a two-tone Heckler & Koch USP on Ziva in Season 7's "Good Cop, Bad Cop" (S7E04).
LeMat 1861
In Season 3's "Silver War", a coffin is unearthed containing several weapons from the Civil War, including a LeMat 1861 revolver.
Jericho 941 "Baby Eagle"
In Season 5's "About Face" (S5E17), a suspect pulls a Jericho 941 on Jimmy Palmer from his car.
The captain of the Damocles uses one in Season 7's "Good Cop, Bad Cop", almost shooting his first mate and holding it on Ziva before being shot from behind.
Kahr CW9
In Season 3's "Untouchable", a Kahr CW9 is found next to a dead female Naval officer.
Look at the front of the slide, on the C-9 there is a bevelled area to facilitate re-holstering in a concealed carry holster, the picture of the other weapon is a standard P-9 with an extended magazine.
Kimber Custom
Mike Franks (Muse Watson) uses a Kimber Custom in the Season 5 episodes "Judgment Day, Part 1" and "Judgment Day, Part 2". He also uses one (possibly the same one) in the Season 6 episode "Deliverance".
M1911A1
In Season 2's "Call of Silence" (S2E07), Iwo Jima veteran Ernie Yost (Charles Durning) brings his M1911A1 to NCIS headquarters to turn himself in for possibly murdering a fellow Marine.
The M1911A1 is held on Mickey Stokes (Hal Holbrook) by Petty Officer Derrick Paulson (Brandon Barash) in Season 4's "Escaped" (S4E02).
Makarov PM
In his first appearance, Ari Haswari (Rudolf Martin) uses a Makarov PM equipped with a suppressor to hold Kate (Sasha Alexander), Gerald, and Ducky (David McCallum) hostage in Season 1's "Bête Noire" (S01E16).
Para Ordnance Companion C7.45
In Season 2's "Chained", Tony uses a Para Ordnance C7.45 (as evidenced by the factory Para grips and the LDA hammer and trigger).
Smith & Wesson Model 10
A Smith & Wesson Model 10 is used by a senator's wife to kill a Navy Lieutenant with whom her husband was having an affair.
Smith & Wesson Model 19
In the Season 3 episode "Deception," a security guard holds a Smith & Wesson Model 19 on Ziva and Tony, but Ziva kicks the weapon out of his hands.
Smith & Wesson Model 37
Gibbs (Mark Harmon) carries a Model 37 with a black finish in an ankle holster as his backup weapon. In the Season 3 episode "Mind Games", he uses it to threaten sadistic serial killer Kyle Boone (Christopher Shyer). In the later Season 3 episode "Probie," he gives it to McGee, whose weapon has been temporarily confiscated, to back Gibbs up as they go to question a suspect.
A nickel Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight revolver is used to kill a bully on a Navy base in the Season 6 episode "Hide & Seek". Checking out its violent history causes Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perette) to label it an "Evil gun" and describe it as possessed: used in at least convenience store hold-ups, and was used to commit a crime each time it changed hands.
Smith & Wesson Model 637 Airweight
A Smith & Wesson Model 637 Airweight revolver is found on the floorboard of a car by DC police in Season 4's "Faking It" (S4E04).
Smith & Wesson Model 60
DiNozzo uses a Smith & Wesson Model 60 as his backup weapon.
Smith & Wesson Model 66
A Smith & Wesson Model 66 is said to have been used by Amanda Reed (Jamie Luner) to shoot NCIS Agent Chris Pacci in Season 1, Episode 19 "Dead Man Talking." Gibbs referred to it as being "small, and easy to conceal." However, this is an error since the image of the gun that flashes on the lab screen (a stock product photo from the S&W catalog) is a Smith & Wesson Model 60, not the Model 66. The Model 60 is much more concealable than the larger framed Model 66.
Smith & Wesson Model 340PD
Ziva carries a Smith & Wesson Model 340PD as her backup gun, which she carries in an ankle holster and she once dual wielded along with her SIG in Season 6's "Dead Reckoning".
Smith & Wesson Model 627
Natasha Lenkov (Kathleen Gati) holds a Smith & Wesson Model 627 on Gibbs and Franks in Season 5's "Judgment Day, Part II".
Smith & Wesson Model 686
In Season 2's "Pop Life" (S2E16), club owner Ian Alfred "Bulldog" Hitch (Steven Brand) is seen using a Smith & Wesson Model 686 to threaten one of his dancers, Samantha "Jade" King (Mya Harrison).
Looks like a Ruger GP100 to me.
Smith & Wesson 5906
A terrorist disguised as a trooper, uses a S&W 5906 to gun down the naval officers in Season 2's "Twilight".
In Season 3's "Jeopardy", James Dempsey (Connor Trinneer) holds NCIS Director Sheperd (Lauren Holly) hostage with a Smith & Wesson 5906.
In Season 6's "Dead Reckoning" (S6E20), CIA Agent Trent Kort (David Dayan Fisher) takes a Smith & Wesson 5906 from a terrorist that he shot after planting his Glock on the dead guy.
Taurus PT92C
The North Korean sleeper agent Yoon Dawson (Esther Chae) holds a suppressed Taurus PT92C in Season 3's "Light Sleeper".
Walther PPK/S
Col. Will Ryan (Terry O'Quinn), Gibbs former CO, owns and uses an Interarms imported Walther PPK/S in Season 1's "Enigma" (S01E15).
Walther P99
A kidnapper is seen about to use a suppressed Walther P99 on a kidnapped Marine right before Gibbs and the team breach the room in Season 3's "Honor Code".

FN P90
Mossad Officer Malachi Ben-Gidon (T.J. Ramini) uses a FN P90 during the firefight on the Damocles in Season 7's "Good Cop, Bad Cop". Two P90s are also visible in the "sanctuary" in Season 7's "Power Down".
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
In the series premiere "Yankee White" (S1E01), an Al Qaeda sleeper takes a Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW from the armory of Air Force One. Two Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDWs can be seen in the "sanctuary" in Season 7's "Power Down".
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
SRT members are seen carrying Heckler & Koch MP5A2's during the hostage situation at the school in Season 3's "Bait". Russian special forces posing as pirates in Season 5's "Chimera" also carry Heckler & Koch MP5A2s with dedicated forends and Navy trigger groups.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
In Season 1's "Enigma", Col. Will Ryan (Terry O'Quinn) takes an Heckler & Koch MP5A3 from one of his captors. In Season 1's "Split Decision", Gibbs goes undercover as an arms dealer, and uses a Heckler & Koch MP5A3. Several are also seen in the "sanctuary" in Season 7's "Power Down".

IMI Uzi
Ziva uses a full size Uzi during the firefight aboard the Damocles in Season 7's "Good Cop, Bad Cop" (S7E04).
Intratec TEC-9
In Season 6's "Deliverance", a gun dealer shows an Intratec TEC-9 to a potential client, saying "TEC-9, full auto, empty a clip in 4 seconds" and encourages him to fire it, the burst hitting the roof of the abandoned warehouse and causing the body of an already-slain Marine to fall through the skylight. It was also seen in Season 3's "Iced".
Skorpion SA Vz.61
A terrorist in Season 6's "Dead Reckoning" uses a Skorpion SA Vz 61 to shoot at Trent Kort before being killed by him. Kort then uses the Skorpion to shoot another terrorist. While usually chambered in .32 ACP, there is evidence that Vz61 clone pistols were chambered in .380 in the 1980's.
Rifles
AKM
The AKM is a frequent weapon used by terrorists and suspects in the series.
AKMS
In the Season 2 finale "Twilight", several terrorists can be seen firing AKMS rifles at Gibbs and the team to no avail. The weapon is also used by various other villains in the series.
British 1853 Enfield
The British 1853 Enfield rifle is carried by Union re-enactors in Season 3's "Silver War".
Henry 1860
In Season 3's "Silver War", a Henry 1860 is seen used by a Civil War reenactor.
M4A1 Carbine
The M4A1 carbine can be seen used by various US Military personnel and gunmen throughout the series. In Season 5's "In The Zone" (S5E15), Tony carries an M4A1 during his investigation in Iraq. Two are visible on a rack in the "sanctuary" in Season 7's "Power Down".
M16A2 Rifle
The M16A2 rifle is used by various characters and gunmen throughout the series, notably carried by US Marines in Season 5's "In The Zone".
Rocky Mountain Arms Patriot Pistol
Smugglers are seen firing Rocky Mountain Arms Patriot Pistols at Tony and Ziva in Season 3's "Boxed In".
Ruger Mini-14
In the Season 3 episode "Ravenous", a scoped Ruger Mini-14 is carried by Park Ranger James Landis (Todd Allen). Gibbs also used the Mini-14 to shoot Park Ranger James Landis in the butt.
SIG SG 552
The SIG SG 552 is used by Sam, Kensi and other NCIS agents in Season 6's "Legend Pt. 2" (6x23) when they raid a garage that is the headquarters of a suspected terrorist cell.
Springfield 1873 "Trapdoor" Carbine
In Season 3's "Silver War", Union re-enactors are seen with the Springfield 1873 "Trapdoor" Carbine.
Winchester 1873
The Winchester Model 1873 is used by Gibbs in one episode (where it is incorrectly referred to as a Henry rifle) to shoot down a helicopter. It is also owned by Jackson Gibbs, he keeps it loaded on the wall. In Season 7's "Faith", Jackson mentions that he had to use his Winchester to kill a person who tried to rob his store.
Sniper Rifles
Accuracy International L96A1
The Accuracy International L96A1 is one of the sniper rifles Abby test-fires in her lab in "Kill Ari, Part I".
Blaser 93 Sniper Rifle
In Season 1's "One Shot, One Kill", the wannabe sniper can be seen armed with a Blaser 93 sniper rifle, equipped with a bipod and custom muzzle brake. It is also one of the sniper rifles Abby test-fires in her lab in "Kill Ari, Part I".
Bravo 51
The Bravo 51 is featured prominently in opening episodes of Season 3. Gibbs says the rifle is referred as a 'Kate', it was first used by Ari Haswari (Rudolf Martin) in the Season 2 finale "Twilight". In Season 3's premiere episodes, "Kill Ari, Parts I and II", Ari is seen handling one again. In Part I, it's also one of the weapons Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) test-fires in her lab as well as handled by Gibbs. The SRT snipers appear to be using them in the episode "Bait".
Heckler & Koch SL8
In Season 7's "Rule Fifty-One", Ziva is seen using a suppressed H&K SL8 rifle.
M40A1 Sniper Rifle
An M40A1 sniper rifle appears in the episodes "Kill Ari Part 1" and "Kill Ari Part 2". It is the rifle used by Gibbs in his Marine days and he now keeps it in a case in his basement. He also uses it during the rescue misson in Season 7's premiere "Truth or Consequences", killing 2 terrorists at long range. It was also one of the weapons tested by Abby to see if it was used by Ari to kill Kate.
M40A3 Sniper Rifle
A Marine Corps M40A3 sniper rifle is another rifle Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) test-fires in her lab in "Kill Ari, Part I".
Remington 700PSS
In Season 3's "Bait", an SRT sniper is seen with the Remington 700PSS rifle.
Tango 51
A Tango 51 is an Tac-Ops accurized and blue-printed Remington M700 action, designed for high accuracy shooting. It is one of the sniper rifles Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) test-fires in her lab in "Kill Ari, Part I".
Shotguns
Benelli M4 Super 90
Some of Drantyev's men are seen carrying Benelli M4 Super 90 shotguns in Season 5's "Judgment Day, Part I".
Double Barreled Shotgun
Used by a mechanic to murder a sailor in the episode "Family".
Heckler & Koch FABARM
Viggo Drantyev (Oleg Taktarov) carries a Heckler & Koch FABARM shotgun when entering the diner in Season 5's "Judgment Day, Part I".
Mossberg 590 "Compact Cruiser"
Used by various Characters. The kidnapper grabs the 590 in Season 3's "Honor Code".
Remington 870
The Remington 870 is used in numerous episodes by the NCIS agents. In Season 2's finale "Twilight" (S2E26), Gibbs uses the 870 to flush out the terrorists in the warehouse. Kate then handles it during the shootout before running out of ammo and tossing it to take a bullet for Gibbs. In Season 3's "Ravenous", a Remington 870 Police Magnum Riot shotgun is used by Gibbs as the team hunts a fugitive in the woods.
Remington 870 Police
Kate is seen using a Remington 870 Police version with a dedicated forend weaponlight to wound a suspect that took her SIG in Season 1's "UnSEALed".
Remington 870 Police "Entry Gun"
In Season 4's "Sandblast", Lt. Col. Hollis Mann is seen using a Remington 870 Police Entry Gun fitted with a saddle shell holder and forend weaponlight when raiding a suspected terrorist hideout.

A Browning M2 HB is seen mounted on top of a Marine humvee Season 5's "In The Zone".
FIM-92A Stinger
An FIM-92A Stinger is seen in the weapons cache Col. Will Ryan (Terry O'Quinn) takes Gibbs to see in Season 1's "Enigma".
M60E3 Machine Gun
In the Season 1 episode "Split Decision", here Gibbs is undercover as an arms dealer, several M60E3 machine guns can be seen. Gibbs bringing them to make a sale, however the ones he brought to 'sell' didn't have firing pins.
RPG-7
RPG's are also seen in Col. Ryan's cache.
Other
Advanced Taser M26
Abby (Pauley Perrette) is seen using an Advanced Taser M26 on her stalker in the Season 3 episode "Bloodbath". A security guard also shoots McGee with one in Season 6's "Silent Night".
Air Rifle
A kid uses an air rifle to shoot a hole in an inflatable raft in Season 5's "Judgment Day, Part 1".
