The Duke of Monroth's bodyguard carries a [[Webley RIC]] revolver that he pulls out in an attempt to kill Christian ([[Ewan McGregor]]) during the performance of "Spectacular-Spectacular!", but is thwarted by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec ([[John Leguizamo]]) and his Bohemian musical troupe. The Duke of Monroth ([[Richard Roxburgh]]) then takes the gun to kill Christian himself, but is knocked out by a punch from Harold Zidler ([[Jim Broadbent]]), which sends the gun flying out a window.
