The Mossberg MVP is a series of sporting, hunting and tactical rifles manufactured by Mossberg & Sons, the model name of which stands for "Mossberg Varmint & Predator". The rifle comes in a number of different variants including LC (Light Chassis), LR (Long Range), Scout, Patrol, FLEX (modular) and Varmint & Predator. All of these variants are available with either 5.56x45mm or 7.62x51mm sized actions, with the former feeding from standard AR-15 pattern magazines, and the latter from AR-10 (LR308/SR25) and M1A/M14 style magazines.
