Misery is a 1990 horror thriller starring James Caan as a popular mystery novelist who, after suffering a terrible and near-fatal car crash, finds himself in the "care" of an obsessive, mentally imbalanced fan of his novels. The film was directed by Rob Reiner and was based on the Stephen King novel. Kathy Bates would win an Academy Award for her portrayal of Annie Wilkes.

Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates) keeps a Colt Cobra “D” Frame revolver in her home. The knurled cap on the ejector rod is missing for reasons unknown.
Smith and Wesson Model 10
Sheriff Buster (Richard Farnsworth) carries a 4”-barreled revolver that appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 10, but is never seen out of its holster.

12 Gauge Double Barreled shotgun
At one point in the film, Annie Wilkes is seen with a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun.
