One of the pistols, seen on the wall, lacks any kind of external lock, so this is more likely not a flintlock or percussion cap gun but a breechloading one. Judging by the general shape, notably by the spur on the grip, the pisotol can be identified as a small caliber parlor gun of Victorian era. Exactly the same looking pistol is also used as wall decoration in [[Midsomer_Murders_-_Season_19#Parlor Pistol|Season 19]].

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS!!!

Pistols

Luger P08

A suppressed Luger P08 is the murder weapon in "The Miniature Murders" (S21E02). A wooden (!) bullet is used. The description of the gun by the forensic experts is following: Dr. Fleur Perkins claims the murder weapon a .45 or even larger caliber gun, and then a ballistic expert identifies the pistol in following words: "This is Luger Model 1917, a Swedish semi auto pistol constructed for using of light wooden bullets. About a thousand pieces was produced." Such description may be a reference to Danish Schouboe pistol that really used 11.35 mm (close to .45 caliber) bullets with a wooden core under a metal jacket, but Schouboe has nothing to do with Luger, and it was designed in 1907.

The suppressor is seen in the murder scene.
The photo of "Swedish Luger M1917 firing wooden bullets".
The flashback scene reveals Carys Nicholson (Rosalie Craig) drawing the pistol from her bag.
Carys Nicholson fires the pistol.

Walther P38

During the investigation in "The Miniature Murders" (S21E02), a police diver finds a Walther P38 in the river.

The diver finds the P38.
DCI Barnaby examines the pistol.

Antique Pistols

Several antique pistols are seen on the wall in the village pub in "With Baited Breath" (S21E04). Some of these guns are Flintlock Pistols while others aren't seen good enough for positive identification (possibly non-firing wall-hangers).

For reference: British Heavy Dragoon Pistol - .62 caliber
For reference: New Land Pattern Flintlock Pistol - .65 caliber
A flintlock pistol is seen on the wall at the right. A pistol at the left is an unknown model.
Another view of the flintlock pistol. It seems to be a Napoleonic era cavalry model. Exactly the same looking pistol is also used as wall decoration in Season 2 and Season 8.
An unknown pistol is seen at the background. It has a wide grip and relatively short barrel.
One more flintlock pistol on the wall.
Same pistol and a kind of handgun with a thick barrel and uncommonly shaped grip (at the right).

Parlor Pistol

One of the pistols, seen on the wall, lacks any kind of external lock, so this is more likely not a flintlock or percussion cap gun but a breechloading one. Judging by the general shape, notably by the spur on the grip, the pisotol can be identified as a small caliber parlor gun of Victorian era. Exactly the same looking pistol is also used as wall decoration in Season 19.

A pistol is seen on the wall at the left.

Footage

L85A2

A photo of British soldiers in Afghanistan, holding L85 (likely L85A2) assault rifles, is seen on Duncan Corrigan's (Cassidy Little) table in "The Point of Balance" (S21E01).
